Dead Ringer For Love

Aug. 31st, 2008 | 01:37 am

I just watched this video on TMF's Ultimate 80s Weekend show. It's a bit mental. It's like a seedy version of Grease; at one point Cher gets on the bar in a very short skirt which must have been terrifying for the two guys at her feet. Then she squats right in front of one of them and he nearly passes out. How come Meat Loaf is hanging out with those jock sporty team types in the first place? Look at them behind him, they're totally loving it. Cher is drinking a pint - that's wrong. And they 're singing too fast. At the end it goes totally orgasmic like the whole bar's going to blow up. >s you know you'd be watching if you were here ;-)

september already?

Sep. 1st, 2007 | 01:30 am

wow it's been 2 months since i've added anything here...what have i been doing? well, in the very recent past i've been trying soya milk on my cereal, but i'm not sure it's a good move; how are we supposed to know whats healthy these days? to go with my milk, i found "on the air", david lynch's early '90s tv series that got pulled by the american network that commissioned it after 4 episodes. apparently he made 7.  kind of wacky and almost mainstream in a way. going back a little further, the last 3 weeks have mainly been taken up with the digital summer school, getting bamboozled by new languages/applications of javascript, processing, and vvvv. oh and staying up too late looking at flikr; so more later......

Das Leben der Anderen

Apr. 28th, 2007 | 11:25 pm

really enjoyed 'the lives of others'. it's one of  those films that just aren't complete til the last frame,  then you leave the cinema and take it with you. i loved the background of greys, drab olives [my current favourite colour], and stasi surveillance equipment.
